A Little Goes a Long
Way
Substituting one 7 lb. bag of EasySpred™ for every 50 lb. bag of lime produces a mortar which is smooth, creamy and workable. Masons say EasySpred™ mortar spreads "like butter". This means easy tooling of joints and better flow to cross joints. Head joints need not be rebuttered. It also means less efflorescence and no lime burns.
Revolutionizes Stucco
Mix
EasySpred™ is a highly effective plasticizer. This property is very important to the stucco contractor who is looking for a smooth, adherent stucco mix. EasySpred™ gives greater adherence even when applied to dry surfaces. Contractors can expect a flowable, cohesive stucco, the type that minimizes the need for priming and delivers better control to set time. EasySpred™ is a natural lubricator...a real benefit for the contractor who sprays stucco mixes. Use EasySpred™ as a full or partial lime replacement or as an admixture.
Swimming Pool Finish

EasySpred™ is also used as a replacement for asbestos in swimming pool plaster finish coatings. EasySpred™ improves cohesiveness, spreadability, pumpability and is user friendly. Use 1/4 to 1/2 bag of EasySpred™ per 94 lb. bag of Portland Cement.
EasySpred™ As
a Pumping Aid
EasySpred™ also acts as a lubricant that greatly improves the pumpability of plaster, concrete and grout, while at the same time, it reduces segregation and improves flowability. Add EasySpred™ at a rate of approximately 2% by weight of Portland Cement.

An Admixture
EasySpred™ can be used in lesser quantities (1/8 to 1/4 bag of EasySpred™ per bag of masonry, cement-lime, or plastic/stucco cement) as an admixture. It enhances workability, flowability, cohesiveness, pumpability and it reduces early-stage drying and shrinkage.
Easier to Use
EasySpred™ is a powder resembling talc, but is cream to light gray in color. It's packaged in 7 lb. bags. The packaging is designed so that one bag of EasySpred™ produces the workability of one bag of hydrated lime. This convenient size package makes adding EasySpred™ simple and fast. If your mix calls for one bag of lime, you should add one bag of EasySpred™ instead. This unique packaging size eliminates the need for measuring or adding partial bags of material.
