The Technical Stuff:
Rp-M is a uniquely formulated product designed for use as a plaster additive or with exposed aggregate finishes. Rp-M provides an increase in the compressive strength of the plaster while providing decreased permeability. Rp-M’s mixture of rheology modifiers and pozzolans reduce the water demand of a traditional pozzolan-only modified mixture. Pozzolans are a special  mineral admixture that react with calcium hydroxide to product calcium silicate hydrate or calcium aluminosilicate hydrate.

Product Description:
Rp-M is a blend of an extremely fine amorphous low alkali specialty glass that attracts and bonds water onto it surface and a brilliant white pozzolan, mixed in each 251lb. Bag.

Compressive Strength Gain:
Rp-M delivers high compressive strength due to the efficient packing of cementitious materials and it’s reactivity as a pozzolan. This combination of pozzolanic activity and reduced water demands produces high compressive strength.

Particle Size Distribution:
 The  particle distribution is such  that it efficiently fills the void spaces between the aggregates and cementitous components of the mixture, thus lowering water demand and imparting improved durability.

Decreased Permeability:
As a plaster modifier, Rp-M will provide more efficient consumption of the hydroxide that is produced during the hydration of cement creating a more impermeable, denser finish.
